Hi! I'm so excited to be embarking on this project to help teens and young adults carve out time to discover and ponder possible career paths!
After spending the better part of a year attempting to create a digital product that would allow teens to explore career possibilities, I discovered that I ended up with more questions than answers! If there are career exploration tools out there, why aren't teens using them? Do people not know about them? Does career exploration get crowded out of the college application process? If so, why is that? Who is counseling high school students on how to find their passion? Is this even a discussion?
In this blog, I will explore these questions and hopefully arrive at some answers from your comments! Stay tuned as I blog about these questions that inspired me to step away from teaching and pursue this new adventure. Because I'm with you. How do we discover our passion and make a career out of it?
